Since you are doing this now, you have a lot more tools at your disposal. These new tools are even easier to use than what I have shown here. Be sure to read the instructions and steps before attempting anything on your phone. It will give you a good idea of what to do or not to do when you are actually performing the jailbreaking/unlocking. I personally have not used this new tool but I have several friends that tried it and think that it is very easy to use and works very well. My complaint was with version 1.5. The current version of 2.0 works just fine with taskbar grouping turned on.
